Project: PlaNUS

PlaNUS is a desktop CLI based application for NUS students to schedule their tasks and timetable.

Listed below are my contributions to this team project

• New Features: Added the ability to search for tasks. #31
  • What it does: Allows the user to search for tasks by using keywords from the description of the task
  • Justification: By using this feature a user can effectively search for their tasks and won’t spend too long searching for tasks in the list.

• New Features: Added the ability to import their timetable from NUSMODS. #116
  • What it does: Allows the user to basically import their NUSMods Timetable into the PlaNUS program.
  • Justification: Allows the user to import their timetable into the PlaNUS program. Hence, the user will be able to easily access all the class timings as well as exam timings without needing to leave the program.

• Enhancements to existing features:
  • Fixed a bug early on in the development of the program where the program would accept blank descriptions. #31 )

• Documentation:

  • User Guide:
    • Added some changes to the UG for user understanding based on the feedback received during bug testing. [#116] #31
• I added the search feature, but it was further maintained and updated by my teammates.
• Community:
  • Reported bugs and suggestions for the team T13-2 in the PE dry run.
